Used extensively in tomato-based dishes, oregano can also be used to flavour soups and sauces.

It is used in the composition of Provence herbs, along with other herbs such as rosemarybasil and tarragon.

Oregano, like marjoram or thyme, has fabulous antiseptic properties. When infused, it can be effective in case of fever and colds.

This herb also has many benefits on the digestive system.
