Timut berries
Zanthoxylum armatum
Timut pepper can be used infused, crushed, ground, crushed or grilled.
Like many spices, it can be used in salty (with meat or fish) and sweet dishes (pastries or fruit) but also in drinks (teas and herbal teas).
This pepper can also be combined with cinnamon, turmeric or tonka beans and ginger.
Its berries have powerful anti-infective and anti-inflammatory properties.
Traditional Ayurvedic medicine gives it tonic properties.
